Pradeep Sindhu is an Indian-American entrepreneur and computer scientist. He is best known as the co-founder and CTO of Juniper Networks, a leading provider of networking products and services. Sindhu was born in 1962 in India and graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
In 1996, Sindhu co-founded Juniper Networks with Scott Kriens and Dennis Ferguson. He served as the company's CTO until 2002, when he left to pursue other interests. During his tenure at Juniper, Sindhu was responsible for the development of the company's core routing and switching products. He also played a key role in the company's initial public offering in 1999.
Since leaving Juniper, Sindhu has been involved in a number of venture capital and private equity investments. He is currently a partner at the venture capital firm, Formation 8, and serves on the board of directors of several companies, including the online education platform, Coursera.
Sindhu has been involved in a number of high-profile collaborations with celebrities. In 2013, he was a part of the team that launched the mobile payment platform, Square, with Jack Dorsey. He has also collaborated with Ashton Kutcher on a number of investments, including the mobile messaging app, Path.
