¶ MySQL 02: Basic functions for installing MySQL Workbench and practicing SQL

MySQL Workbench is a free and open source visual tool for working with MySQL databases. It is available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Download MySQL Workbench from the MySQL website.
- Run the installer and follow the instructions.
- Once the installation is complete, launch MySQL Workbench.
- In the sidebar, expand the "Databases" section.
- Right-click on the "Databases" and select "Create Schema..."
- Enter a name for the database and click "Apply".
- In the sidebar, expand the database that you want to create the table in.
- Right-click on the database and select "Create Table..."
- Enter a name for the table and click "Apply".
- Enter the name and data type for each column and click "Apply".
- In the sidebar, expand the database that the table is in.
- Right-click on the table and select "Insert Row..."
- Enter the data for each column and click "Apply".
- In the sidebar, expand the database that the table is in.
- Right-click on the table and select "Select Rows - Limit 1000".
- The data from the table will be displayed in the SQL editor.
- In the sidebar, expand the database that the table is in.
- Right-click on the table and select "Update Row..."
- Enter the data for each column that you want to update and click "Apply".
- In the sidebar, expand the database that the table is in.
- Right-click on the table and select "Delete Row..."
- Enter the data for the row that you want to delete and click "Apply".
